Job Type: Full-Time
Location: New York (Regional Position)
- Provide leadership and oversight for residential and commercial mitigation and restoration operations involving water, fire, mold, and storm damage.
- Ensure all projects comply with SERVPRO® operating procedures, franchise requirements, IICRC standards, company policies, protocols, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Oversee, mentor, and support Project Managers and field personnel to ensure consistency, accountability, quality, and operational excellence.
- Monitor project schedules, staffing, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project quality, employee performance, and adherence to company standards.
- Serve as the senior operational leader for all Large Loss events.
- Direct emergency response, stabilization, mitigation strategy, staffing, equipment deployment, and overall execution of large commercial and catastrophic loss projects.
- Coordinate Project Managers, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure rapid mobilization and successful project execution.
- Maintain direct communication with customers, insurance adjusters, consultants, third-party administrators, and executive management throughout the duration of Large Loss projects.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, documentation, production goals, and profitability while ensuring compliance with SERVPRO® quality standards.
- Oversee compliance with all SERVPRO® policies, protocols, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
- Conduct routine job site inspections, quality assurance reviews, and operational audits.
- Verify that job documentation, drying records, moisture readings, photographs, customer authorizations, estimates, and job files are complete, accurate, and compliant.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, IICRC standards, and SERVPRO® Best Practices.
- Identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective action plans.
- Develop and coordinate ongoing training programs for Project Managers, Crew Chiefs, and technicians.
- Mentor Project Managers and field personnel through regular coaching, field evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Conduct job site visitations, operational reviews, and best-practice training.
- Assist with onboarding and developing new Project Managers and restoration personnel.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Provide executive oversight of restoration projects from initial loss through final completion.
- Assist Project Managers with complex losses and challenging customer situations.
- Review estimates, scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and project profitability.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with SERVPRO® standards and customer expectations.
- Oversee scheduling of Project Managers, field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and emergency response resources.
- Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate emergency response coverage and operational readiness.
- Manage operational scheduling requirements across multiple offices.
- Participate in management of the monthly on-call rotation and catastrophe response planning.
- Support Project Managers in maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, consultants, property managers, and third-party administrators.
- Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns and complex insurance-related matters.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and communication throughout every phase of the restoration process.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading restoration and mitigation projects.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supervising and managing subordinate Project Managers and restoration personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Broad and in-depth knowledge of water, fire, mold, and storm restoration services and operations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- IICRC Certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT), and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT – Mold) are strongly preferred.
- Experience using Xactimate estimating software.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent restoration projects and teams.
